Event Rules

  • Must have class index on front and rear windows before first round of qualifying (ET). No changes of index are allowed during eliminations.

  • We will park in a group to help promote the SNDR organization – look for the American flag flying above our trailers

  • All illegal devices (list in the class rules) must be disconnected or remove before event starts

  • There is a mandatory driver’s meeting before each event – ALL DRIVERS MUST ATTEND

  • All waivers must be signed and turned in at the mandatory driver’s meeting

  • All bye runs will be based on best reaction time of previous run

  • No rain outs will carry over

  • Remember – ALL NHRA AND IHRA SAFETY RULES APPLY!

  • These rules are to ensure fair racing for all

Class Rules: Vintage Super Stock/Stock

  • Option 1/8 mile or 1/4 mile (depending on the track)

  • 1979 and older for Stock/Super Stock

  • No aluminum rear wings

  • Must look period correct

  • Interior must have driver seat, dash and door panels

  • Any tire size allowed

  • Motor must be brand correct

  • Transmission, any brand allowed

  • Line lock for burn out use only

  • No programmable MSD boxes allowed

  • No traction control

  • No electric or pneumatic throttle control use

  • No delay or cross over boxes

  • 2-step or 3-step for burn out or high side rev limit

  • Electric or air shifters allowed

  • No Nitrous

  • Foot brake only!

  • No snorkle scoop

  • Cowl hood ok (4″ maximum)

  • Gas or alcohol allowed

Class Rules: Vintage Gasser

  • Option 1/8 mile only

  • 1967 and older, 2-door left hand drive/full fendered

  • Motor set back 10%

  • Trans brake allowed

  • Any tire size allowed

  • Must be period correct

  • No wings or modern hood scoops

  • No traction control

  • Line lock use, allowed anytime

  • No programmable MSD Boxes (7561/7531/7761), all others

  • No electric or pneumatic throttle control during run

  • Must be self-starting (on-board starter)

  • No delay or cross over boxes

  • No interacting between MSD box and throttle control

  • Gas or alcohol allowed

  • No Nitrous

  • 2-step or 3-step allowed

Class Rules: Open Wheel/F.E. Dragster/Altereds

  • 1/8 Mile only

  • Must be period correct in appearance

  • Any motor

  • Any transmission

  • Blower allowed or injected

  • No nitrous

  • No big wings, unless used in the 60’s or 70’s

  • .4 tenths pro tree

  • Trans brake allowed

  • No crossover boxes
